The 47th Annual Meeting of Southeast Decision Sciences Institute (SE DSI) will be held in Charleston, SC. Sessions will begin Wednesday afternoon and wrap up Friday at noon. All conference attendees are invited to the President’s reception on Thursday evening and President’s luncheon on Friday. This historic location will allow you to enjoy collaborating with supportive colleagues as you present papers and learn from others in your field. SE DSI is a regional subdivision of the Decision Sciences Institute, a professional organization of academicians and practitioners interested in the application of quantitative and behavioral methods to the problems of society. February 14, 2017: The 2017 SE DSI Conference Program can be found at 2017 Conference Program.

December 2, 2016: Due to final exams and clases, the submission deadline for student papers has been extended one last time. Student papers (PhD, Masters and undergraduate) and undergraduate poster session papers can be submitted until December 11, 2016. This is the FINAL deadline.

November 1, 2016: The 2017 Conference Call for Papers deadline has been extended one last time. The Extended call for Papers has a deadline of 11/13/16.

October 18, 2016: The 2017 Conference Call for Papers deadline has been extended. The Extended call for Papers has a deadline of 10/31/16.

July 1, 2016: 2017 Conference Call for Volunteers is now available The Call for Volunteers for the 2017 SEDSI Conference is now available.

Submissions

All submissions will take place through the Conference Management System.

Note: All papers are subject to a double blind review process.


Register / Update Information


The Conference Management System is available and is where you can:

  • check on the status of your paper
  • see the sessions and papers you are scheduled to chair and/or discuss
  • upload the completed version of your paper (PDF format)
Currently you can register for the 2017 SEDSI Conference by completing one of the two forms below and mailing them to the Program Chair as shown on the form. You can register online at 2017 Conference Registration.

Students


Student paper competition:
This year's student paper competition is divided into three separate tracks: Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD, and the quality of submissions will be judged only with respect to other papers in a given track.
Students should upload their paper through the online Conference Management System and furthermore identify the track to which their paper belongs by submitted to the correct competition track.

Undergraduate poster session:
SE DSI will once again be sponsoring a special undergraduate student poster session in conjunction with the 2017 meeting due to the successful sessions at the previous meetings.
Accepted submissions will be invited to share their work as part of the President's reception on Thursday evening.
